Helping The Holmes
Donation protected
Our names are Nash and Patrick Clouston and we are asking for help for our niece, Ivy Lee Holmes, this is a little bit of her story.
At the end of December to early January, we noticed some change in Ivy. Things didn't get much better and on January 26th, she was admitted to the hospital in Temple, Texas, for a few days. Tuesday March 30th we came for a follow up CT scan. I got a call that they found a mass in her scan and we needed to come back. Here we are, almost a week later. Ivy Lee is getting treatment for 1 of the 2 things she has and we will start treatment for the 2nd one in a few weeks. She is strong, fierce, and such a little fighter. All of her doctors and nurses have informed us just how strong she physically is and just how cute she is also. (That's Ivy for you). No one prepares you to hear the words "this is cancer", but God gave us this battle and Ivy Lee is kicking butt. The other syndrome is called OMS or in other words Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome and it's a rare disorder that affects the nervous system. Symptoms include rapid, multi-direction eye movements (Opsoclonus), quick, involuntary muscle jerks (Myoclonus), uncoordinated movement (ataxia), irritability, and sleep disturbance. Her doctors have referred to her as the "Tiny Hulk" because of how strong she physically is as well, so #TinyHulkStrong.
Needless to say medical bills and travel expenses will be plenty and in these tough times we know it can be hard to give, but any donation will be greatly appreciated. We just want to help our sister and her family during these tough times and you can help also. #TinyHulkStrong
