11-20-2019 Allen Michael Heiden gained his angel wings. Gerry and Mackenzie got a fatal/lethal diagnosis at their 20 week ultrasound appointment. The baby's kidneys were enlarged and filled with cysts, no kidney or bladder function which meant no amniotic fluid, very small lungs that would never develop, an enlarged heart with fluid around it, and a deformity in the back of his neck. Gerry and Mackenzie spoke with 3 different specialists that all said there was nothing that could be done for them or the baby. At this point in time they are left with large medical bills, unpayed time off work, planning a memorial service, and picking an urn for their babies ashes. I would love to be able to alleviate some of the financial stress these two are facing so they can focus on themselves and their two small boys that they have to keep going for.
