Helping The Head Family

Our dear friends The Head Family are in need of some help as Rick Head, father of 3, is fighting a rare cancer. Rick was diagnosed with Liposarcoma in January 2019, and had surgery in March to remove 50 pounds of tumor located in his abdomen. The doctors were able to remove 80 percent of the cancer, and he is now in an aggressive chemotherapy program lasting through August.

Rick was a self employed handyman and can no longer work since his diagnosis in January.  His wife Sheila, who's a fantastic teacher, is on leave from teaching 1st grade to take care of him, and assist him with his treatments. CeCe, Will and Jesse, their 3 kids, are all in college and between schooling for their kids and medical bills they could use our help.

The Head Family were our neighbors for over 12 years and they have become part of our family.  CeCe, their daughter has been our sweet babysitter for the past 10 years, and they have done so much to help us,  our children and pets. I've created this account to help ease some of the financial burden of medical bills, treatment, hospital stays and just their everyday expenses. It's my hope that the community comes together to help one of our own families, so that they have less to worry about, and can focus on helping Rick get well. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated, as well as your thoughts and prayers.
