Helping the Hatridge Family

Hi Friends!

I am Ashley Cooper, a friend of Lindy's. I have known Lindy long enough that I did her hair for her Senior Prom at Texas High, we went through college together to become teachers and are still friends today. Lindy is an Instructional Coach at Nash Elementary. Bubba works at Marshal's Home Health with medical supplies. I've known Bubba and Lindy for years, they are are amazing people and always active in our community. Bubba and Lindy have two amazing kids Jackson and Allie who want to see their daddy come home as all of us do.

Bubba was diagnosed with COVID last week and was at home receiving oxygen. On Monday morning he was admitted to the hospital for high flow oxygen, by Monday evening he was placed on the vent for his lungs to heal. Bubba has blood clots in each lung, a small leak is in his lung and air around his heart, 5 blood clots were found in his legs also. Lindy and Bubba's mom Ginger were able to see Bubba on Tuesday where he was able to communicate with them via handwritten notes- he told Lindy she looked pretty. Today, Wednesday an urgent plea for getting Bubba to a facility to get ECMO treatment was shared on Facebook, by the grace of God and a miracle a bed was found at Arkansas Baptist and Bubba was transported there via helicopter.

As you can imagine this is going to be costly for the Hatridge family. Bubba is off work, Lindy is in Little Rock with Bubba so she will not be able to work either. As a teacher we only get so many days off and then they dock our pay, the last thing we want is for Lindy to worry about bills during this. Hotels, food, gas will begin to add up and I'd love for those of us that love the Hatridge family be able to show our love.
