Helping the Hamels

Michael & Brandy Hamel were married June 19th, 2021. They recently bought a house of May 2022. Three months later, Brandy was diagnosed with MDS. She spent the next 8 months in Houston where she was given a stem cell transplant. Brandy then came home July 2023 with high expectations of being cured only to find out a month and half later she relapsed into having AML, which is an aggressive type of leukemia. Brandy is currently back in Houston for more treatments. Her husband, Michael, is having to take many days /weeks off of work along with expensive flights to Houston to be by his wife’s side.
