Helping the Guion Family Heal

On April 30, 2022, this world suffered a terrible loss. Gemma Joan Guion, age 9, peacefully passed away in her sleep while hugging her teddy bear in her bedroom after a courageous 8-year battle with brain cancer. As a very close friend of the Guion Family, I was devastated by the sudden passing of Gemma, and I could not express in words the profound sadness I had for Teal and Patrick. Gemma was an inspiration to all, and she, with the help of her loving parents, Patrick and Teal, never let her disease or physical impairments stop her from flourishing like any other girl. Thousands were touched by Gemma's courageous story through the "Go Gemma Go" Facebook community page. She truly was a local celebrity, and she was also the epitome of what a loving, kind soul should be.

This donation drive aims to assist Patrick and Teal in any financial hardship, cost, and expense they may encounter related to the tragic death of their beautiful daughter in their time of healing.
