Hi everyone!

I am Jenny, Melissa's older sister. She didn't want me to do this, but I am doing it anyways.

Most of you know that my family and I took care of my father Jimmy last year as he was dying with cancer. It was incredibly taxing to everyone involved. He passed away June 15, 2016.

A few weeks ago, much to our shock, my brother in law was diagnosed with cancer. Just nine months after her father passed away, my sister is now getting her husband through a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Words can not describe how stressful and heart wrenching this is. 

My brother in law Manuel is undergoing chemotherapy and has had several stays in the hospital. He is unable to work and disability won't be an option for at least six months. My sister has had to take off a lot of work to be there for her husband, all while being the only one able to work. As a consequence, she and her family, which include nine children, are facing considerable finanicial stress.

The money donated will be to cover bills including rent and other living expenses. 

Anything you can donate is monumentally appreciated. Again, my sister didn't want to do this...but I truly believe in the power of community at times of need.  And she and her family of 11 are in need.
