Those who know the Fords truly love the Fords.

Roderick Ford II is now in rest after fighting cancer going onto three years in October. With the Incredible support from his wife, Danielle; their children, Tre and Miles; and a whole community of friends and those he’s touched as a student, teacher, coach, and success mentor at Las Vegas High School.

Through prayer, love, and countless rounds of chemotherapy, Rod has been able to enjoy his life over the past two years as he battled this cancer. He’s done his best not to miss any family events and has even moved his family this summer to Pittsburgh, Danielle’s hometown.

However, over the past month, Rod’s battle with cancer has become more challenging to manage. Right now, doctors, oncologists, and nurses are doing everything they can to keep Rod comfortable and able to communicate with his loved ones as he has moved into hospice.

This has obviously taken a great toll on the Ford Family as they prepare for the possibility of losing the man who has been their rock and protector of their family. We ask for your prayers and thoughts for Danielle, Tre, and Miles and of course our big guy, Rod.
