Helping the Family of Taffash Riley

Hi, I am a neighbor in the building of the Riley Family.

On Feb.1.2022, Taffash Riley's life was taken suddenly . We do not know the exact details of this as yet, as it happened yesterday at 7170 Darcel.

Her death is being treated as a homicide.

Taffash was only 14 years old and was friends of many of our children and their siblings. I know this will touch many of you as mothers and fathers.

The Riley Family came from Jamaica in 2012 and do not have family here in Canada. It is just Mom, Dad and son . Their wish is to bring their daughter home. My heart is broken, and my faith in humanity is at an all-time low, knowing someone could take a 14-year-old girl's life.

The pain this family is going through is unimaginable. I hope, as a community, we can come together and show our support and help send Taffash home.

To the Riley family, our prayers are with you. May God find you in this difficult time and give you strength that I wish you did not need . We are here to support and guide you in any way. I speak on behalf of the whole building when I say this -We feel your loss as if it was ours. You are a part of our community, and we will stand tall to help bring her home. You may not have Family here, but your Malton family is.
