Helping the Family of John (Jovan) Bosanac
This is something I never thought I would need to write or ask. We always think we have time to plan and save.
I know many of you knew my father. He was active in the church for many years, along with being a scout leader, and devoted husband and father. He was passionate, sometimes to a fault, and caring, putting his family before himself up until the very end. On November 15, my parents’ 34th wedding anniversary, my father was taken to the hospital by ambulance because he was so weak he couldn’t stand. Once at the hospital he was diagnosed with kidney failure that was complicated by COVID-19. Fifteen days later, after a grueling battle for his life, he passed away. We have been told it happened quickly, painlessly, and he didn’t suffer.
Due to the sudden hospitalization and death of my father, many things were left unplanned. Not only do we need to buy a burial plot, headstone, casket, and other funeral expenses, but my father’s disability was paying the mortgage on the house. John always tried to help anyone who asked in any way he could. I know 2020 has been a difficult year, but now I’m asking for help on his behalf and my family’s. Anything you can give to help pay for his funeral expenses and support the family before we need to sell the house. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated beyond measure. Thank you all for you the kind words, calls, and outpouring of support we have been receiving and continue to receive.
