Help Us Stay Strong for Baby Jason
Our family is facing one of the most difficult and uncertain seasons of our lives. After a fall at home, I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. A few hours later, while I was sleeping, my water broke unexpectedly. I was soon flown to The Women’s Hospital of Texas, where I’ve been admitted on strict bedrest—and where I’ll remain until our baby, Jason Michael, is born.
We met with a neonatologist who gave us both concern and hope. While they don’t believe there’s a large rupture in the amniotic sac, they did discover a small separation that appears to be leaking fluid. There may be an aneurysm inside the sac—likely caused by the fall—that could rupture if not carefully monitored. Because of this, I’m being treated as though there is a rupture, and every day is a delicate balance of faith and medical care.
We are holding tightly to God’s unfailing love, trusting in His mercy, and praying for healing and protection over our baby boy. But alongside the emotional and physical toll, we’re also facing a growing financial strain. I’m unable to work, and my husband Cody is traveling over two hours each way to visit while we do our best to keep things as normal as possible for our 9-year-old son, Parker, who is staying with grandparents.
Between medical bills, travel expenses, food, gas, and the upcoming school year, we’re overwhelmed. As hard as it is to ask for help, we need our community now more than ever. If you feel led to donate, share, or even lift us up in prayer, it would mean the world to us. Your support allows us to focus on what matters most—keeping Baby Jason safe and preparing our family for his arrival, whenever that may be.
