My name is Ashley Holt, and I set this gofund me up to help the Coley family during this hard time.

On April 17th, Elijah Coley was rushed to the emergency room with excruciating pain. His appendix had ruptured. They performed emergency surgery to remove his appendix.

Once his appendix was removed, they thought he was in the clear. Unfortunately, he started having complications. After a few days, the doctors discovered those complications were due to abscesses that had formed.

On April 23, he had an additional surgery to remove the abscesses, and placed drains for the excess fluid.

During this time, his wife Jaime has been driving back and forth to be with him but also be home with their children. She has not been able to work during this time.

They're unsure when he will be released but are hopeful it will be soon. Once he returns home, he will have at least a few weeks of recovery.

I created this gofund me for the Coley family so they wouldn’t have to stress about finances and daily living during Elijah’s recovery.
