Helping the Chalk family & baby Joey heal❤️

On February 27th, little 3 month old Joey was attacked by the family dog, and experienced some very extensive injuries. Last week he was transferred to CHEO in Ottawa and underwent brain surgery but came through like the champ we know he is! ❤️ He is now out of the PICU and is in a room on the surgery floor. He may have to undergo another brain surgery later this week. He is expected to be in the hospital for another 2-4 weeks.

His parents Tabi and Ben are unable to work due to being in the hospital with their little boy. Tabi is self employed and unable to receive maternity leave or EI benefits so Ben has been their only source of income up to this point.

I’m making this post to try and take some of the financial stress off of Joeys family. ❤️ Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help cover some of the expenses of bills, food, housing, gas, etc.

We are also proud of how far little Joey has come, but it’s not a surprise because we all know how strong he is. ❤️ He is in good spirits, laughing & smiling the whole way through. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts & prayers while they go through this tough time. Thank you so much!
