We want to share an update regarding funeral arrangements for Jess, as well as an update to our fundraising goal.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, located at 25800 Harper Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
Because of the incredible support shown so far, and after further considering the long road ahead for her husband and three young children, we are increasing the GoFundMe goal from $35,000 to $45,000. These funds will help cover funeral expenses, immediate household needs, and provide continued support for the children in the difficult months ahead.
We are beyond grateful for every donation, share, message, and prayer. The love this community has shown has been truly overwhelming and deeply appreciated by the family.

On May 31st, our lives were forever changed when we unexpectedly lost Jessica Cantle—a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her passing has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her, especially her husband Danny and their three beautiful children: Liam (10), Scarlett (4), and Josephine (3). Jessica was the heart of her family. As a stay-at-home mom, she dedicated her days to caring for her children, managing their home, and creating a life filled with love, comfort, and stability. While Danny works long hours as a barber to provide for his family, he could always count on Jessica to be there for their children—to wipe tears, celebrate milestones, help with homework, and fill their home with warmth. Now, in an instant, everything has changed. Danny is facing the unimaginable reality of raising three young children without the love and support of his wife by his side. While trying to navigate his own grief, he must also help Liam, Scarlett, and Josie process the heartbreaking loss of their mother. No child should have to grow up without their mom, and no husband should have to say goodbye to the love of his life so suddenly. In the days, weeks, and months ahead, Danny will be faced with expenses he never anticipated. In addition to funeral and memorial costs, he will now need childcare support while continuing to work and provide for his family. The responsibilities Jessica carried every day—responsibilities that cannot simply be replaced—have left an overwhelming gap that Danny is now trying to fill while carrying the weight of profound loss. We are asking for support to help ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help Danny provide stability for Liam, Scarlett, and Josie as they begin to navigate life without their mother.
