My sister Heather has spent so many years helping people. This is an attempt to now get her, Jason and Faith some help getting started again rebuilding from losing their home and all their belongings in the CampFire (Paradise, CA).
Thankfully all three and their dog Glamour made it out of Paradise safe and sound. All in all, we are celebrating that every min!!!
Heather was the last of the Burnetts out of Paradise. She rushed back into the early part of the fire to save Glamour... when getting home the fire moved so quickly that after only minutes there she decided to leave. The path out was frightening, driving through flames after seeing the fire close in on their home. Something you never think you would see happen.

Later we learned from a CalFire representative that the fire moved at a speed of over 70mph through the Burnett's neighborhood. Very thankful she didn't delay and stop for anything but Glamour!
So many people have thoughtfully reached out. Some know Heather, Jason and/or Faith well and some don't. Reaching out means so much to all of us.
For those who have asked what you can do, Lisa and I thought if you could do anything to help them get going again, that would be amazing.
It is easy to forget how many things we have until we don't have them any more. The Burnetts left their home for the last time just like many of us. With one set of clothes, their school backpack, a coffee mug and nothing else. The rest was in their home.
We were hoping to get them help getting the basics back (clothes, shoes, bedding, schools supplies, computer, tools for Jason's roofing business, etc.). The things needed for day to day living... to start their next steps.
Thanks for whatever you can do. And a big thanks even if you can't and have been saying prayers instead!
