On Friday, September 11, 2020, my little brother overdosed on heroin and stopped breathing for 10-30 minutes. Keaton was clean and getting his life together after we lost our brother, Victor last year. He slipped up and must have taken too much. Now he is at St. Joseph Medical Center and cant breathe on his own and our parents are waiting to find out if he is brain dead, which could take days. My mom and dad aren’t able to stay with him through the night due to covid and the expenses are building as the commute to the hospitalwould be too much and too long. Not to mention, they don’t need to be sleeping outside during this time-which my mother would do!

I set the fund amount so high just because at this point in time, we are looking at either a lot of aftercare and rehabilitation for Keaton or other expenses that we just do not want to talk about right now andwill update when those times come.
