Kaitlyn & Bobby are two of the most selfless people you could meet, they would both give you the shirts of their backs in order to help someone in need. Now they’re both facing one challenge after another and need our help. 

After the loss of two babies, the Blumrichs and their medical team were taking no chances with little Addie. Kaitlyn went in for surgery back in July, to help keep Addie comfortably where she belonged, and Kaitlyn has been on limited activity ever since. About a month ago Kaitlyn was airlifted to Austin while in pre-term labor. Luckily doctors were able to stop contractions, and we didn’t meet Miss Addie just yet, this would happen again a week later, and a final time on Nov 18th. As many of you may already know Addison Hope Blumrich was born on November 21st at 30 weeks. This little angel baby came screaming into the world at 3lbs and 14oz, and her parents couldn’t be more excited to welcome her!

Kaitlyn gets discharged from the Hospital on Wednesday and has nowhere in Austin to stay. Some of the hotels offer discounts, and she is on the waitlist for the Ronald McDonald House, but they said it could be 3+ weeks, and would still have a nightly fee. No mother should have to stress about how to stay close to her baby while she fights in the NICU. 

With Kaitlyn off work for the next few months, medical bills, and their newest addition, the Blumrichs need help. Bobby has returned to work so that he can use his Vacation time for when Addie finally gets to come home, but that means Kaitlyn is alone in Austin, and Bobby doesn’t get to be there with her. No parents should have to worry about how to afford staying with their child, especially when they have already faced one traumatic event after another. 

Neither of these two would ever ask for you help, but now more than ever they could use the support of their friends and family. Help keep these two new parents with their beautiful new baby girl.
