Mat & Keeley have been feeling the love and generosity of their friends and family during this time. Thank you all for the prayers, meals, gift cards, and more! Many are still reaching out asking what they can do to help, and after numerous requests to set up a GoFundMe, we decided that's probably the best way to channel donations to help with the significant medical expenses and other associated costs. For those of you who aren't aware of these recent events in Mat's life, we have shared a bit more below. Thank you all again! We have all been in awe of the love coming from all over the world!

On Friday, April 8th, Mat suffered from an aortic dissection and had to be life-flighted from Vail to Denver for open-heart surgery. Despite a tear in his artery from heart to thigh, and the time it took from his collapse in Eagle to the operating table in Denver, doctors were able to repair the dissection in under 9 hours. In his typical "can't keep me down," fashion, Mat has amazed doctors with his ability to beat each recovery milestone--making it out of ICU in 3 days and out of the hospital in 5! While he's not yet out of the woods--with a follow-up surgery over the summer and continued recovery over the next six months--we feel God has blessed us all with a miracle! Mat, Keeley, and the kids continue to be blessed by the overwhelming love, prayers, and support of those around them, and thanks to all of you, we are confident Mat will continue this strong road to recovery.
