An overnight apartment fire started on Wednesday morning, at 1:12 A.M, February 17. A Frisco resident was rescued by the firefighters, but remains hospitalized.

According to the Frisco City Hall, the fire broke out at Circa Frisco Apartments, on the 9000 block of Gaylord Pkwy. Unfortunately, the fire spread to multiple apartment units. The affected building housed 260 apartments.

Frisco firefighters responded to the emergency call and began rescue efforts as soon as they arrived on the scene. They soon had to call for additional resources to keep the situation under control.

Pranitha and family were one of the residents in Circa apartments, Her parents visited on Monday, 02/15/2021 from India who are 65 years old when Texas had really bad snow storm – Winter Storm Uri, no power for two days, have endured unrelenting freezing temperatures, days long power and water outages , frozen pipes, floods etc.. and on Wednesday, suffered fires that became catastrophic leaving hundreds of families everything in the fire and were displaced from their homes and in one of the units as explained above, forced to leave their apartment due to fire and flooding. Pranitha is 9 months pregnant and her baby is due on 03/05/2021. Family had to relocate to a hotel for almost two weeks with 4 family members and many of their belongings, including those for the baby were damaged. Their apartment building is currently uninhabitable, and they are working on moving into different place.
