Teacher Heidi, has worked at the Butte College Child Development Center for over twenty years. If you have ever had the pleasure of working with her, you'd know that her skills working with young children are beyond phenomenal. It is with a heavy heart that I share with you all that Teacher Heidi has been diagnosed with cancer. This week she gets her first round of chemo. With a long road ahead of her, she is surrounded with support from all of her family and friends.  The biggest challenge for her right now is the medical bills that are piling up up and will continue to come. As a single mother, even a deductible for her medical insurance is going to be a heavy financial burden. If you find it in your heart to contribute we would appreciate it so much. We want her to be able to focus on healing and to feel the love from all that know her. We want the last thing she needs to stress about right now to be the money.
