Dear Friends and Kindred Spirits,

Today, we rally around someone truly extraordinary, our dear friend Tanyia. Tanyia is involved with Project Perfect World, a nonprofit that brings vital medical assistance to children in underserved countries. She’s also a fierce advocate for wildlife preservation, always giving back to the planet and its beings.

Recently, life threw Tanyia an unexpected curveball. On December 15th, she was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia called Philadelphia Positive B-Cell ALL (because apparently if you’re going to get leukemia, it might as well be the ultra-rare, VIP edition).

She was admitted to LDS Hospital Dec. 15th and spent 17 days there. Now, back home, she’s undergoing intensive IV Chemotherapy (her juice bag she calls it), regular lumbar punctures, and painful bone marrow biopsies, fighting with the same strength and humor that she brings to everything she does.

Tanyia is not one to ask for help. She’s a private person, and being in the spotlight isn’t her style. Yet, her journey is a testament to her resilience and her unwavering dedication to others. Now, it’s our turn to reciprocate that love and support.

At the heart of Tanyia's healing journey is her daughter Scarlett, family, and friends. Tanyia's daughter is the light of her life and her main motivation to overcome this challenge. As we come together to support her, let’s channel that powerful, healing energy and show Tanyia that she’s not alone in this.
