My name is Natoya. I am a family friend of Amir's mother, Tamara. Amir developed a brain tumor at the age of 8 years old. Tamara and Amir moved to Maryland last year to gain access to Hopkins, the best of the best, to help Amir. He was placed in hospice care around Christmas of 2025. Unfortunately, Amir lost his battle on January 27th, 2026. He was only 18 years old.
