Helping to Support the Parker's

Nathan Parker is a very well respected Police Officer that worked for the Windsor Police Service from 2004 through 2017. In 2017, Nathan made the tough decision to switch to the OPP and re-locate with his wife and children to be closer to family. This was not an easy decision for Nathan but in the end he chose to look after his family and be closer to home.

Unfortunately, just a few short weeks ago Nathan’s beautiful wife Aleksandra (Aleks) who is only 44 years old, was diagnosed with Cancer. Aleks, has always been a healthy, active and highly motivated person just like Nathan. They are currently working closely with Doctors on a treatment plan.

With this life changing news, both Aleks and Nathan will be off work for an indeterminate amount of time. This news has literally shattered their world.

Over the last number of years we have learned two things:

The first is that unfortunately Cancer does not discriminate. It doesn’t care about age, shape, size, or colour. It is an awful disease and until we find a cure it will keep ripping apart loving happy families just like it has done to the Parker’s.

The second thing we have learned, is that as a Policing Family, when someone falls we are always there as a service to help them up and carry them forward.

The Parker’s have a very long road ahead of them and right now the future is unclear.

We have started a GoFundMe campaign to help offset some of the expenses that the Parker’s will face. Thoughts, prayers, and messages of support are all greatly appreciated but if we can offer some sort of financial assistance, it will help to ease the burden in other areas and allow the Parker’s to focus on what is really important. Their Family.
