My name is Susan, and I’m trying to help my daughter through a rough time. Friday, Aug. 15, my grandson got away from his father and ran into traffic and was struck by a vehicle. We are so thankful to all of the people who helped him. He does have some extensive injuries. He has a fractured skull, a laceration to the liver, a broken orbital socket, his leg is broken in two places, and he has scrapes and bruises and road rash all over his body. He is very fortunate that none of his injuries are something he can’t recover from. His mom will, however, have to be home from work over the next couple of months, as he will have a lengthy recovery. Anything will help them in this time.
