Perspectives Charter Schools serves students and families from Chicago’s South Side, communities filled with strength, culture, and resilience, yet facing deep and persistent inequities. Across our five campuses, 94% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch, 98% identify as African American, and 5% are in temporary living situations. For more than 28 years, we have provided a safe and supportive place for students to learn, grow, and lead.

At the heart of Perspectives is A Disciplined Life® (ADL), our social-emotional learning model that teaches students how to build healthy relationships, make responsible decisions, and grow as ethical leaders. ADL focuses on 26 principles that guide students in how they treat themselves and others. It helps them show compassion, practice perseverance, and develop the confidence they need to succeed in school and in life.

ADL is part of every classroom, advisory, and leadership activity at Perspectives. Students learn how to manage emotions, communicate respectfully, set goals, and take ownership of their choices. These skills support academic success, improve school culture, and help students stay focused on who they want to become.

To continue strengthening ADL across our campuses, we need your support. Donations will help us provide:

• Professional learning for teachers and staff

• Student leadership and community service activities

• Classroom resources that support reflection and growth
