We are Lumeni Media, a media company built to tell meaningful stories around students, graduates, education and real life experiences.

We are fundraising to launch One Degree Away, a long-form series created to support students who are facing financial, academic or mental pressure. The aim is to find students with real stories, listen to what they are going through, and give them something that genuinely helps their student life.

This could be support towards rent, groceries, travel, study materials, a laptop, graduation costs or anything that helps remove pressure and allows them to keep going.

One Degree Away will be filmed as a mix of social experiment, emotional interview, giveaway and charity campaign. Our goal is to use media not just to tell stories, but to make a direct difference in people’s lives.

The funds raised will go towards supporting the students featured in the series, as well as helping us cover production costs such as filming, editing, travel, equipment and distribution.

Many students are closer than people realise to struggling in silence, dropping out or burning out. We believe that sometimes, one moment of support can make a life-changing difference.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will help us bring One Degree Away to life and support students who need it most.
