Aloha y'all, if you're local you probably know me, my name is Thaddeus, I’m a barista and resident at Honua's Coffee Shop in Nā‘ālehu, Hawaiʻi.

I've been spending the last week giving back to my community that's been supporting me. Helping with local cleanup efforts and doing whatever I can and working with whoever I can to get this town back on its feet. Unfortunately, I’m now facing a crisis of my own.

I lost my car during the flooding from Hurricane Lala, and I’m at serious risk of losing my job and home due to damage to the building.

I’m asking for help getting through this difficult period while I work toward getting transportation, and potentially having to find new employment and a place to stay. Any money raised will go toward immediate transportation needs, housing, and essential living expenses while I get back on stable ground.

I know times are difficult for many people, so even a small donation means more than I can express. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would help tremendously, I've never been too active on social media platforms so I don't really have the means of sharing this with many eyes by myself.
