Helping Slade Smith Fight Cancer

Dear Friends,

We’re reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to help Slade, and we need your help!

You may have heard that Slade, was diagnosed with "Multiple Myeloma" bone cancer. It is located within his pelvis region, rib area, as well as the spine, lymph nodes and lung cancer. They have given Slade 18months without proper treatment.

As of this moment we are unsure of the actual treatment plan at this time but we do know is the doctors are gathering a treatment plan and have permanently deemed Slade disabled.

As soon as we have the specific treatment plan I will update you all and keep you updated as the information comes to us.

Being unable to work and without insurance and being denied medicaid he really needs our help to get him through this time.

We all love Slade because he has a fierce spirit and inspires so many people and others in the community/social media family to be their best. Daily he is sacrificing precious time he could be spending with his own family to uplift others.

The effects of this illness is devastating, however. The prognosis, with the medicine, and treatments is a 60 percent survival rate. I assure you we will file appeals to medicaid for out of pocket medical expenses which add up quick and although appeals can be filed they are never guaranteed.
