Hello, it’s Stephanie and Casey here in Austin, Tx. We are raising funds for a dear friend whose home was massively affected by the Tornados in Temple, Texas.

On the evening of May 22, 2024 at 6:21pm an F2 Tornado tore its way through a subdivision near Marina’s Point Resort in Temple, TX destroying the homes and businesses in its path.

Our dear friend Brittany, a single mother, and her two daughters’ home was in the direct path and sheltered in a closet with their pets during the horrific event which lasted about 5 minutes.

Thankfully, they were not harmed, but their home and only residence was severely damaged by hail, wind, and water making their house unlivable. And although they got belongings out of the house quickly they discovered mold on personal belongings on 5/29/24.

The repairs needed are extensive and expensive. Even with home insurance the out-of-pocket expenses, including a hefty deductible, temporary living, and replacing food and other necessities will be upwards of $15,000, but we are hoping to help her cover the most important and immediate needs.

As if that wasn’t already devastating enough, Brittany owns a salon in Temple that was also impacted by the tornado and without power, so she is not able to work and earn income until the salon damage is assessed, repaired, and power is restored for which there is no timeline, currently.

Brittany is a loving and caring person, a hard worker, and above all else, an amazing mother and she needs our help. Any contribution to help her and her family get through this awful ordeal and back on their feet and in their home is greatly appreciated.
