Helping Sherri Enjoy Life

Many of the Lake Country community know Sherri Evans as the bright, smiling face when you walk through the doors of Lake Country Home Hardware. Sheri has been a member of the Home Hardware family for 2 years and a member of the Lake Country community for 7 years.

On Jan 27, 2023, Sheri was diagnosed with Metastatic HER 2+ Inoperable Stage 4 breast cancer. It is one of the most aggressive forms of Breast Cancer and has spread to her bones and marrow. There is NO Cure - she will never get to say she is Cancer Free. Her body is responding favourably to systemic treatment and will likely continue with Chemotherapy and some other treatments to help her live another year, maybe 5 - no one can say for sure.

The Home Hardware Crew wants Sherri to enjoy each day going forward, however, she wants to. She has kids and grandkids in Alberta that she would love to see and a bucket list that she can not do without our help
