Helping Shelby Start Over

Dear friends,

As you know, our Carousel family suffered an unspeakable tragedy this week. Not only has the world lost a remarkable soul in David, but his fiancée Shelby has lost her partner, best friend, and the love of her life.

The loss of David has left Shelby’s whole situation quite uncertain, as there is no part of her life that has been untouched by this weeks events. They lived together and shared expenses. Now not only has she been unable to work since this situation began on December 30th, but half her household income is now gone. Her expenses however, remain the same for rent, utilities, ect. So it is with humble hearts that we turn to you, our beloved community, to ask you to help us build up a little financial cushion for Shelby to help her get by while she figures out where to begin starting her life over. Any amount helps, and will be received with the utmost gratitude. It’s never easy to ask for help, but during times of tragedy is when people need to come together. Shelby has shown remarkable strength throughout this whole ordeal, but still has a very long road ahead.
