My name is Matthew Tilker and I have known Scooter for forty years.  He is a wonderful human being and one of my very best friends. He is beloved by many, many folks in the communities of Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff and beyond.  If you are reading this text then I am sure you have big smile on your face and a warm feeling inside about how Scooter made you laugh, contemplate Reality, or touched you in some way. He's a comedian, a sociologist, a passionate surfer, soccer player,  talented designer and devoted father of two sons. 

Scooter’s world was turned upside down when he saw his doctor for a stomach pain a couple of months ago and found out he had pancreatic cancer. Scooter is a very independent and proudly self-reliant person but he is self-employed and his aggressive treatment plan calls for two rounds of intense (12 doses), three drug chemotherapy drips plus a big surgery in between.  After each drip Scooter has some very dark, lonely, days and nights. Fatigue, nausea, vomiting and a slew of other chemo related side effects (he is currently beset with stomach enteritis) befall him.

Let's show him how much we love and care for him by helping to ease a bit of his work-load so he can devote all his energies to healing.
