Helping save truffle

This is our 9 month old puppy Truffle! She is a lilac and tan sharpei she's our whole world.

She is a playful, gentle, loving little soul who enjoys her walks as much as her naps

We recently found out that she was born with severe hip dysplasia, one of the worst case the vets have ever seen, with one of her hips already floating out of socket. She also has a grade 4 luxating patella in her right knee. We have been advised not to walk our baby and to only let her out for toileting - at only 9 months old this is heartbreaking.

Truffle now needs life saving operations to help put these things right, we have been informed that she will need both of her hips replaced which will cost 8k per hip and the surgeries for her luxating patella will cost around 4-5k. In total, this would be within the region of £20k. Unfortunately this isnt the kind of money we have so we are fundraising so that we can save our puppy's life. If she does not receive the operations the vet has told us she won't survive, if we can fix my girl we have been told truffle will be able to live a good quality of life.

If you can donate during this hard time to help save Truffle please do, we can’t even put it into words how much it would mean to us and truffle but if not - a share is just as powerful!

We found out via social media that Truffle is not the only puppy from her litter to have had these issues. We have let the breeder at My Pup Palace know about truffles conditions, she has not contacted me back regarding this!

Even if we can just get the awareness out there, this alone would give us piece of mind knowning that no other families will have to go through this awful heartbreaking experience!

If you own one of Truffle's litter mates or any other puppy from this breeder, please get your pup checked over sooner rather than later.
