It is with a broken heart that I share the sudden passing of one of my dearest friends, Ryan. His death came far too soon and has left an overwhelming ache in the lives of all who knew and loved him—especially his wife and two precious young daughters.

I met Ryan and his wife Bethany my first few months at college, and we became fast friends. To me, he was more than a friend—he was like a big brother. He always had a joke ready, a way to make you laugh when you needed it most, and a steady presence you could count on. But above all else, Ryan's faith wasn’t something he just spoke about—it was something he lived out daily through love, service, and kindness.

Ryan was a gift to everyone around him. He led with humility, loved fiercely, and poured himself into his family. The legacy he built on God’s love and faith will live on through his beautiful girls and his devoted wife. While we take comfort in knowing he is now in heaven, the loss felt here on earth is profound.
