Helping Russy

Donation protected

On Friday, July 13 our nephew, Russy Kahny was in a serious car accident. He was rushed to Abington Hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition. He sustained a severe subdural hematoma and had to undergo immediate brain surgery, Russy has been in a coma for the past week. Not only did Russy have bleeding on his brain, but he also suffered a stroke(possibly several), and also developed a pneumonia while in the hospital. Miraculously, this past Wednesday evening Russy opened his eyes for the first time. Russy is only 17 years old and will have a very long road ahead of him! Russy is going into 12th grade at Abington Senior high school where he plays basketball and has been in the state finals for the past two years. Recently, Russy attended Italy and Greece with the Latin club at school. Anyone who knows Russy knows he is the sweetest kid! He helps his family tremendously, especially with his brother Owen who has Autism. The family has been by Russy’s side. Please help support our brother, Stu and his family, Christy, Russy, Ryan, Owen, and Caleb. As their son Russy will need therapy along with helping out with any medical expenses that may occur along the way.
