I never imagined I would find myself starting a GoFundMe, but today my little Rosa was rushed to emergency.

Rosa has been diagnosed with critical anemia. Her red blood cell count dropped to a life-threatening 10%, and her body is currently struggling to produce new cells.

To give her a fighting chance, the specialists have informed me she needs multiple blood transfusions and 3–5 days of intensive hospital care to stabilize her.

The costs for this level of emergency treatment are estimated between $12,000 and $14,000.

I have already committed $4,000 to cover her first 24 hours and her first life-saving transfusion, but her road to recovery is long.

She needs more time in the hospital for her body to start regenerating its own blood.
