Hi everyone,

As maybe a lot of you know my dad, Rooter, had a fall in 2021 that resulted in him breaking C3-C6 in his neck. This has been an incredibly challenging year for us watching him go through this major change of life. My dad is now a quadriplegic. We have navigated several facilities and therapy programs.

We are now over a year in and we’ve had to change his facility again and have now landed back in Sebring, FL. For those of you who know him know that he’s a hometown hero. He’s a big fish in a little pond and it’s a little pond that he loves a lot.

We are now hoping to improve his quality of life and we want to be able to reconnect him with the community he loves. We think getting him a mobility van will help him feel a lot more free. We are also looking to hopefully get him a more accommodating shower chair.

Regardless of how this goes we are determined to do everything we can to continue to enhance the quality of his life. He deserves that. He’s given so many people joy in their lives and we want to return that to him as much as we can.

Anything helps and we really appreciate all the support we’ve gotten so far with the visits and love and cards.
