Helping Romi

Hi Friends!

The most festive time of year is drawing near and for many of us it  comes with being surrounded by people we love. Sadly, not all of us are so lucky to be celebrating with our loved ones… Unfortunately, my dear friend from Guadalajara has a  little niece who is fighting for her life. Her name is Romi. She is sweet, silly, full of life and only 6 years old. Romi is currently in critical condition. She has been fighting what is known as dengue (a mosquito-borne viral disease) and has been hospitalized for 5 days. She is experiencing a severe fever which has caused damage to her little organs.

Her family is extremely devastated and I know that we can all come together during these special yet difficult times to help Romi and her family.

La época más festiva del año se acerca y para muchos de nosotros viene con estar rodeados de personas que amamos. Lamentablemente, no todos somos tan afortunados de celebrar con nuestros seres queridos... Desafortunadamente, mi querido amigo de Guadalajara tiene una sobrina pequeña que está luchando por su vida. Su nombre es Romi. Ella es dulce, graciosa, llena de vida y solo tiene 6 años. Romi se encuentra actualmente en estado crítico. Ha estado luchando contra lo que se conoce como dengue (una enfermedad viral transmitida por mosquitos) y ha estado hospitalizada durante 5 días. Ella está experimentando una fiebre severa que ha causado daños en sus pequeños órganos.

Su familia está extremadamente devastada y sé que todos podemos apoyar durante estos tiempos especiales pero difíciles para ayudar a Romi y su familia.
