On Wednesday, January 12th, Robbie or some of you may know him as “Rabbit”, suffered a major stroke, leaving him fighting for his life in ICU after he was life-flighted to Charlotte. He was intubated on the 15th and is still on a ventilator. Over the last 4+ years, I’ve grown to know Robbie very well. I can say, without a doubt, Robbie is one of the most generous people that I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. He has spent his whole career as a union man with the local 379 and loves what he does. Robbie would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Recently he took some time off of work to bring his mom home from an assisted living to take care of her, as she wasn’t getting the proper care she needed. Just another one of his many acts of kindness. Since then he has been getting ready to go back to work but unexpectedly suffered his 2nd and 3rd stroke, which left him without insurance. We are raising money for when he gets back home. Any amount helps and is very much appreciated.
