On May 5th 2021 Rob was taken to the hospital it Italy with stroke like symptoms, later that evening our family was faced with devastating news initial CT showed a substantial likely cancerous tumor this was confirmed with the MRI that followed. One week later on May 12th he underwent an 8hr surgery to remove a 4cm tumor that was causing headaches, vision problems, nerve damage and the list goes on. 12 LONG days later on May 24th 2021 we received the worst news imaginable. Rob has grade IV Glioblastoma which ins non cure-able and reoccurring. Rob will need to return to the states and will follow up with Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis will he will undergo Chemo and Radiation. This while devastating to our family also causes great financial difficulty of walking away from a well paying career, substantial medical bills, transportation and much more than we can even fathom at this point. We know that money wont buy us more time with him (our husband, father, and poppy) but this could help with one of the burdens that they are now faced with.
We all appreciate your continued love and support and we know that ROB will fight the good fight with The Lord and his family right by his side.
