Many of our clients know RJ, likely for his incredible scalp massages or the funny banter that goes on between him and Chuck. Over the years, RJ has become an irreplaceable member of our salon family. Clients light up when they are greeted by him and his calming demeanor, and he always provides a thoughtful and kind conversation as well.

Last week, on his way home from a day of serving clients, RJ lost consciousness at the wheel due to a diabetic shift in blood sugar. He was in a car accident and sustained multiple injuries, including a broken pelvis as well as two broken shoulders. Since the accident, he has been at the hospital and he has already received multiple surgeries to help relieve his discomfort and assist his body in proper healing. As I am sure you can imagine, there is a long recovery ahead. At this point, RJ still has not been able to walk.

While RJ is focusing on healing, he won't be able to work at the salon, and we want to support him as best we can. We are organizing a fundraiser to help cover his medical expenses and any other costs he may incur over the next few months. Our community's contributions will not only help mitigate financial burdens but also send a message of love and support to a truly cherished member of our salon family. All of the funds raised will go directly to RJ's family.
