Helping Rivah and family in his fight against cancer

Hi my name is Kayla and I've started this fundraiser to help my friend Jada who has just been given the most devastating news imaginable to any parent.

Jada is a young mum to 2 very young children Rivah and Andee who recently moved in search for a better life to follow her dreams and complete her studies in becoming a teacher. Things were finally looking up with her children both enrolled in preschool until her entire life was turned upside down when her son was tragically diagnosed with Leukemia last week.

Rivah is a 4 year old vibrant, sweet and happy boy who is full of life and love despite already having a rough start to life being diagnosed last year with severe autism, however he was thriving in our support group making new friends, he recently made huge progress with his verbal communication and he found a love for numbers.

Rivah and his family have a very long road ahead of them on their journey to recovery with heavy medical treatments no person should have to endure but especially not a 4 year old child.

My hopes with this fundraiser is to get our whole community in Batemans Bay behind them with love and support and to hopefully to take any financial burden off his mum so Jada can focus on Rivah's recovery and her own mental wellbeing while they are living in the hospital for the foreseeable future and she is unable to work or complete her education.
