Helping Rielly Swailes

On April 18, 2024 Rielly was in a terrible automobile accident in Orillia where he was T-boned directly on the driver side by a commercial truck. He was taken to OSMH via ambulance and then air lifted via ORNGE to a trauma center in Toronto with life-threatening injuries. Among his injuries are a brain bleed, 2 collapsed lungs, many broken ribs, and he has undergone emergency surgery to address a tear and blood clot in his aorta. Nearly a week later, he remains in an induced coma on a ventilator in the cardiovascular critical care unit (CCRU) at Sunnybrook Hospital. He is expected to remain in hospital for some time; it is unsure what his future will look like right now. Any donations are greatly appreciated during this difficult time, and will help to cover costs associated with his bills, animal care, and upcoming medical expenses.
