Helping Ricky Tedhams' Final Journey
Donation protected
Hi, guys, this is strange for me, but my brother, Ricky Tedhams, found himself in a hard situation with no job, failing health, and some severe depression with the losses of his parents and his beloved dog, Sam. When the money he had ran out, that just added more stress and sadness. He didn’t want a funeral and wanted to be cremated. While I know it is not my responsibility to pay for his cremation, I wanted to spread his ashes somewhere meaningful for him and tell him goodbye-he’s my brother, forever. That being said, it was suggested to me that I try this avenue to help pay for his cremation. My brother had a big heart and was the underdog’s champion, he loved making others laugh and to take care of those he loved. He did not want to have others take care of him, he wanted to be strong and be seen that way. He loved his friends and family deeply, I believe he knew his illness was going to take him from us and did not want anyone to watch that happen after seeing our father die a slow death from cancer. He had a hard time seeing that alcohol was evil to him, he just saw it as a way to try to ease his mental and emotional pain. It had been by his side for a long time and we know addiction to something so celebrated and everywhere in life, is extremely hard to break up with. He and I both wished things could have been different, but it was not meant to be. If you feel for Ricky and can spare a little towards his final care, it would be of great help in saying goodbye to my little brother. Thank you, and thank you for being his friend.
