Helping Richard Drehsen & His Children

Laura Michelle Drehsen, a beloved wife, mom, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and HR professional tragically and unexpectedly lost her life to meningitis.

Laura is survived by her loving husband Richard and two children, Gunnar (5) and Hope (3); her grandma, her parents, Nancy and Jack, and brothers & sisters-in-law, Matthew & Jenise, David & Edna, Andrew & Elise, Kevin & Galina; her in-laws, Charlie & Jan, Edward & Brooke, Laura & Rich, Anna & Danny, Rebecca, Dannette & Curtis, Charlie & Alicia, Karl & Marie. She is forever adored by her many nephews and nieces: Kaylie, Olivia, Chloe, Lily, Gavin, Owen, Anthony, James, and Audrey.

Richard, Gunnar, and Hope now need support. We would love to support Richard as the unexpected bills will be daunting (hospital stay, time away from work, memorial costs, support for the kids, and the ever-rising cost of living). We want him to be able to focus on healing for himself and his children.

Laura will have an everlasting impact on her family, her friends, her coworkers and everyone she crossed paths with in her 35 years on Earth. The family will honor her and assure her legacy lives on for decades to come. She will continue to be seen through her babies and all impacted by her at home, work, and the places in between. The support for her in the days surrounding her death has been overwhelming and the family is grateful for the love and support both nearby and from afar.

Laura elected to be an organ donor and is able to help others with the gift of life. Laura is loved by so many and will sadly be missed.
