The rental house that Rich Hazzard lived in caught fire on Monday afternoon, February 23rd. He was not there, but his dog, Charlie, perished from the smoke and Rich lost most of his belongings. His renter's insurance was on auto-pay -- until his card was compromised a couple of months ago; he hadn't gotten around to reinstating it with the new account. :-(
