We are humbly raising funds to support Prabhupada Priya Devi Dasi with a necessary cataract surgery. For more than 34 years, Prabhupada Priya has offered her life in steady, selfless service to Srila Prabhupada’s mission. She has distributed thousands of Srila Prabhupada’s books, served 19 years in the holy dhamas of Vrindavan and Mayapur, raised two Krishna conscious children, and guided countless souls on the path of bhakti.
Now, a serious challenge has arisen. Cataracts have begun to cloud her vision and affect her daily life. Recently, she shared how painful it feels to sit before the Deities and struggle to clearly see the Lord during daily darshan or to read the Sanskrit verse and purport while giving Bhagavatam class. Driving, at this stage, would be dangerous. The loss of clarity has become a serious obstacle to her devotional service. As a vanaprastha and full time devotee, a medical expense of this size places a heavy burden.
This surgery will enable her to read, teach, travel, and continue serving with strength and dignity for a long time to come, Krishna willing. By coming together as a community, we help restore her vision and support a devotee who has spent decades supporting others. Any offering, large or small, contributes toward her healing and continued service. Sharing this fundraiser also extends that care. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and remembrance of those who have given their lives in service to Srila Prabhupada.
