On Sunday the 1st of February 2026, my mam, Karen Fox’s home was completely destroyed by a devastating house fire. The fire spread so quickly that there was nothing that could be saved. Her house is a total loss, every possession, every memory, everything she owned is gone.

Tragically, several of her beloved pets were trapped inside and did not make it. These animals were her family, her constant companions, and losing them alongside her home has been absolutely devastating. The emotional toll of this loss is impossible to put into words.

My mam escaped with nothing. No clothes, no personal items, no furniture, no photographs, just her life. She is now facing the overwhelming reality of starting again from scratch, while grieving both her home and the pets she loved so deeply.

I’m raising funds to help my mam rebuild some sense of stability and safety. Our immediate goal is to help her secure a mobile home or potentially a small log cabin, giving her a permanent place to live and a chance to begin again. Any remaining funds will go toward essential living costs, clothing, basic furniture, household items, and necessities she urgently needs.

My mam is one of the kindest, most generous people you could meet. She would give her last to help someone else, and now she needs help herself. Asking for support doesn’t come easily, but we cannot do this alone.
