Helping Rebecca Beach make memories

Hi, my name is Vicky and I'm organising this on Becky's behalf.

She has metastatic breast cancer and would be hugely appreciate of any donations however small to put towards experiences with her family.

We'd like this page to help in a little (or hopefully big) way to contribute to trips and experiences for Becky. She's trying to pack in as much as possible with her family due to her time being finite, and her relying on benefits means funds are limited and certain things are too costly for her and her family at this stage of her diagnosis.

A note from Becky:

I have stage 4, Triple Negative Breast Cancer which is a rarer & particularly aggressive form with no cure & fewer treatment options than hormone receptor positive Breast Cancer. Mr Google will tell you my prognosis is 2-3 years but we try not to listen to him. We were planning a holiday to Disney Orlando with my sister & her family before I was originally diagnosed in March 2020 (yep, as COVID hit…I’ve always had phenomenal timing) which we obviously put on hold. We started to think about the idea again as I finished treatment at the end of 2020 & decided 2022 would be the year as it coincided with our 20 year wedding anniversary & to celebrate my sisters 10th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately in September 2021 we had the sad news it had spread leaving me with a terminal diagnosis. This seems to mean that insurance that once would have cost approximately £50 now costs almost £4,000 Plus there are other considerations now that I am classed as disabled that we hadn’t originally factored in.
Vicky & I have never met in real life. We met on Mumsnet, along with approximately 80 other fantastic ladies, when we were all pregnant with our now almost 5 year olds. They are such phenomenally supportive people & hold my hand through everything. I don’t think I could get through this without them ❤️
