Hello, my name is Cameron, and unfortunately, in the year 2022, I lost my father to suicide. My father was aged 45 when he took his own life. He was a delighted figure and didn't show any signs of any mental problems. At this time, I was 17, and it took me on a rollercoaster of all sorts of emotions. My mental Health declined rapidly due to the circumstances I faced and made certain decisions I wish to never looked back on. I'm here trying to raise funds to support a charity that surrounds the minds of young people who may face the same challenges that I did. Due to my father's passing, it made me have a different perspective on life, a perspective where anything can change in an instant and can change your life forever. This made a massive impact on the family, my Mother and me, so it's important to me to highlight his death as best I can, so I can raise as much awareness as possible. All funds raised will go directly towards the 4Tom charity, which is "raising money in Tom’s memory, aiming to prevent suicide and hopefully prevent any family going through this nightmare". The 4Tom charity has played a massive part in my mother's Mental Health as they helped her while she was going through this tragic time by hearing shared experiences with others who are also going through the same situation.
